Here are the Top 10 Mecha Animes that are really the greatest masterpiece's of Anime industry if we look only at Mecha Animes. This is my personal opinion based on fact that I saw a lot of Mecha Animes and no, I don't count them anymore or update my MyAnimeList so I can't tell exact number of Mecha Animes I saw, but if you think you know some other good Mecha Animes leave a comment please I would love to check them out and for more Anime tips visit my Anime Blog.
10. Full Metal Panic
I noticed recently when I was looking for something more to watch that people are really forgetting about this Anime, but really Hey People this is classic and must see for every Mecha Animes fan-boy so start to recommend it, the Full Metal Panic Mecha Anime and it's sequel Full Metal Panic The Second Raid are both really Epic, Funny, Sad, Complex with amazing Mecha battles that you just can't miss.

Same like the above, This Mecha Anime is really great and the story is top-notch, to tell you the truth I did find this Anime when I was searching for something else and saw this in MyAnimeList like 10/10 recommended, so I watched the Trailer.
When Trailer finished I was like WTF nobody told me about this and went to read some reviews and decided to watch it and it was really worth the time. So here is the Trailer that led me to the dark force -->

When I first heard about this Mecha Anime I had really high expectations and once again to be honest it could be much better, Asura Cryin has really some excellent Mecha battles that are honestly one of the best I saw so far.
The thing that catapulted this to number eight spot was the story that really wasn't anything special, but on the other hand it's better than most of the Mecha Animes out there. So don't forget to watch both the Asura Cryin and Asura Cryin 2. Trailer is Here -->

7. Gurren Lagann
Sorry Casshern Sins, but good people at Reddit pointed out that I did forget about Gurren Lagann (watched TTGL long time ago so I forgot, but this Anime definitely deserves spot in top 10 Mecha Animes).
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is one of the most talked about, watched, rated Mecha Anime out there and if you ever considered if you should watch this the answer is Definitelly! Really I'd recommend it like must watch for all Mecha fans out there who likes great action, epic soundtrack and good story with unique animations. Trailer is here -->

If you are real Mecha Animes fan you probably already saw or hear about Gundam Seed or Gundam Seed Destiny.
This was my first Mecha Anime that really did fire the Anime fan side
in me and forced me to watch even more and more great Animes.
This year (2012) will come out Gundam Seed HD Remake, but even through I'm really happy about it Sunrise pissed me off, there is nothing HD about it just cropped XVID to HD format so you get 16:9 screen, but with animations from year 2003. And don't forget to watch both the Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny because it's sequel. Trailer is here -->

are probably the two most knows Mecha series people know about it so it
would surprise me if you didn't see this. What I like the most at
Macross Frontier are the Mecha designs and the Epic music.

Evangelion need to say more? I just think this is the mother of all Mecha Animes and the most well know in world even the USA (wondering if they will ever make the live action movie, but on other hand it's Hollywood it will suck anyway).

Gundam series that did the first time throw Aliens to the Gundam universe and to be honest it wasn't so smart move because the story really wasn't polished, but
Animations, Battles, Characters, Sound and everything was perfect and really awesome to watch in HD.
Watched the movie too, but it's the same as the series just the movie was more retarded in terms of story than the series. -->

This is how you make perfect Anime, really this Anime had everything from great start to Epic end that I really didn't expect to happen. Give this Anime animation and details like the next Anime in this list and I will give you Nobel prize :P

1.Winner - Gundam Unicorn
It's actually OVA that is the best from the Mecha Animes. Freaking Sick awesome animations (I think it's the best from all Animes out there so far), really great story that actually makes sense and the details, sound and camera are just another story...
Watch the AMW in HD - 1080p it's really sick and I know it takes half year to make one episode and so what? The animation and details is worth the time. -->
